Mr Torben is responsible for selecting farm operations suitable for investments by BPT.
Presently BPT is opening an agricultural fund, with the purpose to invest in agriculture in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Selection of projects includes evaluation of local business and political conditions, which is of major concern for international investors.
Torben Andersen is also partner of HTC Agro which has many years of international experience in management, education, planning of large scale production, building design, selection of equipment and structural development of farms — including practical implementation. Torben Andersen is a specialist in animal breeding and production, including general planning of food chains: feed production including land operation, pig production, slaughtering and processing of meat.
Also has 20 years of experience from the Danish slaughterhouse and pig production sector and has worked for the last 7 years with international farm projects in Germany, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. He has an extensive network within the Danish and European farm industry.
